A werewolf who yearns for affection. Particularly trying to win the heart of Gamma, someone who detests him with every fiber of his being. It started out as Bits keeping an eye on him since he seemed close to becoming a true vampire instead of just a color vampire, but what Gamma describes as "stalking" has turned into an infatuation on Bits's part.
notes on werewolves for the bowie to remember!!
1. werewolves are pack animals and pack hunters but are not ruled by alphas. the leader is typically the wolf who does the most for the pack and is usually a woman. 2. they can transform at any time, but during harvest moons, it becomes much harder to resist the call of their wolfblood. 3. werewolves who are pregnant must remain in wolf form in order to carry their babies properly. 4. shifting is incredibly painful, so few do it often. 5. even when not shifted, werewolves have many perks of wolfblood, such as enhanced smell and strength. 6. werewolves can be easy to spot because it's hard for many to resist acting like a dog. theyre also huge dog lovers! 7. yes, they imprint! usually this happens to someone that they view as "rescuing" them. the imprint doesn't usually last if the other party doesn't reciprocate, but it's not something wolves easily forget. often, if their imprint goes on to wrong them, they will hold a grudge and hunt them on harvest moons. 8. unlike vampirism, wolfblood cannot be transferred by biting or to random strangers. a very specific ritual must be performed in order to hear the call of the wolfblood! it's difficult to do and easily mishandled, which could result in a new werewolf losing their sentience and becoming a feral hound. usually, though, werewolves are born with wolfblood in them rather than created through the moonhowl ritual. 9. werewolf size ranges between smaller wolves about the size of a horse and larger wolves about the size of an elephant 10. there are tribes of wolves that live out their days strictly as wolves, but obviously they dont go near broader society. 11. at times, werewolves are tasked by other nonhuman creatures to be watchful eyes, since they're easily able to dispatch threats. for example, werewolves are often assigned to be guardians over creatures who were recently visited by vampires that maybe be in danger of becoming one.
