C-Diff, short for Clostridium difficile, is the most annoying little (I can't think of a word strong enough that isn't a swear) that the chickens of Volo's coop have ever had the misfortune to meet. It all started when his poor hygiene in helping to manage a restaurant infected Volo's wife Tianming with more than six weeks of diarrhea, but in case you thought he couldn't get any worse, you've underestimated him--he brought his shovel and he has further to dig. Ever since then he's been the one chicken in the coop that nobody likes because his depraved slobbery and zero social skills have gotten him on the bad side of every social circle in Volo's communes, but instead of taking the hint and going somewhere else, he just KEEPS coming BACK...AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN reinfecting the entire community with his bad habits and unwanted presence. Chickens have learned to just try and ignore him as best they can. They've learned over time that the harder you try to get rid of him, the more likely it is he comes back.
