Works in a nuclear facility. He's become somewhat of a morale booster for the workers there, but his main purpose is to sit in the reaction chamber and act as a sort of coal-mine canary. If it goes into meltdown and the computers don't pick it up, Hazard is the failsafe to let everyone know to get out of there. Most workers have a half-hearted plan to save him if anything goes down. Hazard is just there for the pets.
