Working titles: The Wild Range, Of Wings and Time/Wings of Time(named after the cult), Feathers/Wings/Hens of Time
In a world where almost all chickens live out in the wild, there are rumors of an advanced society of hens set on worshiping the mysterious god(s) of time. But how much can you really trust whispers on the wind?
Most birds descend from the Wings of Time society without even knowing it. Blah blah something happened and birds were forced to return to their wild roots with some hens eventually rebuilding the society whatever. Some bird flocks moved on from the traditional naming system to something that suited them better while others still use time based names as tribute to the legend or from a tratition they no longer understand
The Time God(s)
Chronos is the well known one, responsible for the flow of time and progression of life on Earth(alt name for world?). But what most don't know, not even the worshipers(society/cult name?) is that there's another God, one whos sole puropse is to stop time, put a Pause on everything it keep it the same for all eternity. And they are roomates :/?
