Finished breeding a Mejiro McQueen chicken after 3-ish months of trying. Her hatched colors were lilac-tumblr-turquoise and my ideal color combo was lilac-lilac-teal, so I needed 3 over mods and 1 flair mod. I made a mistake while changing the over colors, which made me have to use 2 extra mods instead. I decided to leave the flair color as is, since she still looks good with the turquoise and also because I didn't want to spend more eggs on her (for now at least). I'm just glad the grind is finally over.

My next goals are to make Curren Chan, Grass Wonder, and Hishi Amazon!

I finally got Daiwa Scarlet! Her hatched colors were brown-ultramarine-brown, so I only needed 2 mods to acheive my desired color combo. Her feature genes were almost a perfect match to her Chickrew version, I only needed to roll her eyespot to cheek

I decided to start writing progress notes on my Uma-chicken project since I'm quite forgetful. As of right now, I just finished my Agnes Digital chicken which I'm very happy about. She's one of my favorite uma girls and she came out so cute! I had to experiment a lot with chickrew and especially the dressing room to match her colors with her character inspiration. I almost gave up on making her because the base colors don't really match the color palette of her inspiration; until I remembered the photofilm filter. I used a total of 7 filters but it was so worth it.

I've been trying to get a Mejiro McQueen chicken for approx. 2 months by now. T_T I'm aiming for her to have a fancy double lace, lilac-lilac-teal combination. I haven't been able to get a double lace pattern from my breeding pairs. Aaaaaauughhh the endless struggle of probability.

I started working on getting a Daiwa Scarlet chicken around 1-2 weeks ago. I'm aiming for a russet-ultramarine-vermillion color combination. I orginally planned for a neck-band pattern, but breeding a neck-speckle pattern is slightly easier to get for me so I'm going with that.
