BABY, I WAS BORN AN EFFIGY!
THEY/THEM
A thief has no place in a golden frame, nor do they have business getting shot. It's a gentleman's business afterall, and mother always said if you have to run while worrying about your back then you're no thief at all.
But blood is paint, and life is valuable see, so why wouldn't they be in a gold frame? Precious life mixed, ground with pigment and mixed, just like the yolks of old artists.
It's simple really, hiding in what you covet. The only problem is the painting's soul and it makes it quite cramped in here. It doesn't need that.
