A bark chicken with a neck-band pattern

#58607 Bark Bark Lose

Hatchday 19 September 2025
9 months • ZZ Green-grey seed
Petted 3 times

Have you ever heard that the mouth of a Retriever is so soft it could hold an egg without breaking it? Go on, try it! See? Perfectly safe.

How about a stick? Well, you might have a little trouble getting it back from them, but they'd sure do a good job gnawing enough. Teeth marks lodged at the back of a neck that doesn't exist.

A cookie from the windowsill? Gone. You're never seeing that again no matter how burnt it is. Maybe even directly from the oven. Maybe even just the chocolate chips.

So many things enticing to our furry friends, you wonder if they feel bad when they make a mistake. Sometimes it might cost a life, other times it may cost theirs.

I wonder what would happen if a chick was hatched, the color of a stick and the color of chocolate. They'd probably get the last laugh, or in this case maybe the last bark.
