Sponge's TH
He/they

A polite lad. Very organized and proper chicken. Likes to look snazzy and formal. Sponge is unofficially the leader of the coop. Chickens normally listen to them. They take care of the coop and make sure everyone's doing okay. Sponge is chatty. They like spending time with others. They’re welcoming to newcomers and will spend time trying to get to know every chicken in the coop. Everyone is a potential friend. :) Unless they wrong Sponge. Sponge will start off kind, but they'll fight back if someone wrongs them.

Sponge does not appreciate chickens (or anyone) making messes in the house. If someone makes a mess Sponge will stare at them until they awkwardly clean it up. If that someone does NOT clean up their mess, they will get scolded. Sponge is generally polite but has a bit of a petty/sassy side that'll come out on occasion in the form of a side eye or judgmental stare.

When Millicent the first human arrived, Sponge accepted them as a human caretaker. They're still in charge, but they don't mind if this human helps take care of the coop too.

Accidentally adopted EVP as another child. EVP keeps sneaking out of the Spooky Haunted House and into the Literal Household to see Sponge. Who knows how EVP does it. Sponge's partner Sink is a lil confused but accepts EVP too.

During one of Sponge's visits to the Spooky Haunted House, Shock Value tricked him into pushing the Clone Button, and then Sponge II was born. Sponge doesn't hold anything against Sponge II because it's Shock Value's fault. In fact, Sponge is very kind to Sponge II. They DO hold a grudge against Shock Value and is the only one so far to take her supervillainy seriously. If Shock Value is around, Sponge tends to glare or watch suspiciously.

Sponge is friends with Lunch Box and Necklace separately, but they HATE whenever Lunch Box and Necklace are stuck in the same room because there will be so much bickering and trouble. Sponge thinks the fighting is very petty. They're usually just sitting there exasperated until they snap and separate the idiots.

Extra Facts

• Sponge is quite a fan of sponge cake. Is this a coincidence or does Sponge like the cake because of the name? A mystery…
• Sponge seems weirdly fascinated by sponges though. He has his own collection of sponges–a variety of sponges of different shapes and colors. Some he’ll use for cleaning things. Some are just a special part of the collection and will NOT be made dirty. >:(
• Yeah, all the chickens are connected to their object name in some way. xD
• Sponge likes reading and will often spend time by the bookshelf. They are probably buddies with Bookcase.
• Sponge likes to sing. They can sometimes be caught humming too.
• Sponge usually reads and gives advice on Flash Drive’s fanfics. He doesn’t usually go out of his way to read fanfics, but he’ll read them if someone asks.
