huh... I wonder if it's because of my phone's dark mode... @MisspelledFox

@LvEx wait you're right that's it! Tried it with mine and managed to reproduce it :D

Do you have "force dark mode" or "dark mode in all web pages" enabled? Setting name might be worded slightly different but it's a setting that gives all sites a dark mode even if they don't usually have one!

@MisspelledFox yep.... turning it to day mode fixed it. I guess I've never thought about it before pfff

Lmao that's valid!! It always breaks the most unexpected things cry emoji mine used to break all the call related discord buttons and nothing else 😭😭

That's such an interesting/specific way to implement dark mode, I am kind of amused that a singular chicken got inverted; does the phone try to be smart about image colours and invert images that are almost entirely black? think emoji something to look up tomorrow

@circlejourney haha, just noticed it changes other colors as well

@LvEx oh that's hilarious, I'll have to take a look and see if I can find docs on how they handle dark mode. Is this an app or the OS itself that's enforcing dark mode?

@circlejourney it's my phone's internet app! samsung internet, i believe. in the options, there's a toggle for "Light theme sites" and "Dark theme sites" and i use the latter!

I've done a bunch of dark mode changes which I'm hoping will help indicate to the dark mode app that the site has a dark theme. Does this still happen? If so then I think that might be the limit of what I can do on my end pensive emoji but I will keep researching it!

@circlejourney it still does that! it's honestly not that big of a deal to me, i don't generally get on mobile unless there's stuff i need to look at immediately

(i also wanted to say thank you for making mobile so functional; it's so easy to use unlike most sites)

@LvEx Thanks for checking! Hopefully it's not a massive bother 🙏 but I will definitely read up because these auto dark modes seem like a recent change and I'd like to get knowledgeable about how to handle them.

(also yeah I put a lot of effort into the mobile UI so seeing people play it on mobile makes me happy)

On my phone's (forced) dark mode the bug no longer occurs!! We probably use different browsers tho, I believe each browser might have different methods to do this >:)

(I'm using Microsoft Edge's mobile version for Android)

Also, seconding LvEx this is probably the most mobile friendly site I've ever seen cry emoji
