Non-game currency and money

Non-game currency policies

  1. You are allowed to advertise non-game currency commissions (commissions using any currency issued by governments or another game) on this website. However, they are governed by the following rules:
    1. All payment details (e.g. Paypal emails, bank details) must be discussed and sent off-site.
    2. There must be a good or service attached to the transaction, e.g. artwork or a chicken. You cannot solicit donations on this website; please do that offsite. The exception to this rule is including links on your profile to external platforms such a Ko-fi that support donation processing.
    3. You are not allowed to sell site invite codes. Site slots are released and raffled for free monthly, and admins can generate site invite codes at will. They are not worth much.
    4. You are not allowed to sell game currency like eggs and seed. This is because the site has gambling elements that pay out eggs, and we would like to avoid legal issues associated with conversion of eggs back into real currency.
  2. We cannot offer any refunds for egg purchases using real currency that were completed and successfully delivered (i.e. change-of-mind refunds).
  3. If a purchase was completed but the eggs were not delivered for any reason, the full amount owed to you will be delivered to your account as soon as we are notified, or you may request a refund on the full USD amount.

Accounting and revenue

In interest of maintaining transparency, revenue reports will be published half-yearly in January and July every year. You can view past revenue reports here.

Revenue from egg purchases will first go towards covering server costs. If the website begins to experience any operational/server load issues, the server will be upgraded as soon as it is feasible, and figures will be revised with the new hosting rate.

On months where revenue exceeds AU $1,500, a portion of revenue will be donated to charity (read about our charities and donation plan here). After server costs and donations, all remaining revenue will go towards covering the time spent by the developer in maintaining the site.
