INCIDENT CH-01.1: Subject, known as 𝔽𝕒𝕝𝕤𝕖 𝕎𝕚𝕥𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 (SCP-CH-01), is a male bird of an unknown type with completely black feathers. It has no visible eyes. [Where it came from is unknown; possibly an unusual growth]. The subject moves around its enclosure with slow, careful movements, showing it uses senses other than sight, likely very good hearing or feeling vibrations.

INCIDENT CH-01.2: Subject makes occasional sounds: low hums and sometimes sharp clicks. We used to think the clicks were reactions to its surroundings, but we're not sure now; it doesn't always match up. The subject shows no reaction to light or sight tests.

INCIDENT CH-01.3: A strange sensory-disrupting area, about 1.5 meters around it, is centered on the subject. Tools detect small changes in the space and time nearby. People in this area have reported feeling confused and hearing voices in random noises.
It seems to like: Long silences, small spaces, certain sound vibrations (we're studying this), ███████ ██████.
It seems to dislike: Bright light (tested with a heat lamp), sudden loud noises, unpredictable movements nearby. We're rethinking if it dislikes open spaces.

INCIDENT CH-01.4: Subject often stays still for long periods, head tilted like it's listening to the building itself. We don't know why it does this. Current danger level: Low, until we study its behavior more.

INCIDENT CH-01.5: Subject has shown it can find people it can't see by making a high-pitched screech from its mouth. When it screeches, three (3) glowing, see through eye-like things appear, floating and spinning around it. These "eyes" seem to follow targets found by the screech. [What these eye-like things are and how this "Sound-Based Targeting" works needs URGENT study. We're checking if the screech can affect minds or spread ideas.]
