okay tbh I did not really expect anyone besides me to do more than peek at the thread (if that lol) so!! I am overjoyed at your replies 
Périgord finally aged up, so things are OFFICIALLY kicked off with the first nest! 
Périgord x Quicksilver have produced the first keeper for Gen 2!!
I've also learned that I am clueless when it comes to efficiently breeding for genes and colors, so I expect this will take quite a few generations lol. ; v;

@MisspelledFox aaah thank you!! They came out SO CUTE and close to the colors I’m after. Much closer than the first chick from that pair lol.

Hesitantly welcoming Polymorph as the next member of Gen 2!
I'll give Pistache Noisette x Chicken Creepypasta a few more nests to see if they can get a little closer with the flair color and eliminate the wattle gene. 
Secondary color is way off, but if she'd help and you'd ever like to have an internest with my little olive here, just let me know!
It is with a heavy heart that I must remove Polymorph from the Gen 2 pool & her mother Pistache Noisette from the Gen 1 pool. 
I completely spaced and forgot that I modulated Miss Noisette to give her cute little blush cheeks, and we are not using modulators here folks!!
I do try to keep an eye on the family history of the chickens I’m using for the project, and I’m sure I will accidentally overlook something at some point, but y’all… this is literally a chicken I modulated myself lmao. orz
