🌻 Pass The Clara ✨ | PAUSED

Notice

This game is now on pause until the completion of the Sacrifice Games!

Hey you! Do you recognise this chicken?
No? You must be new here! smile emoji

Either way, now's your chance to host her for a while!

While we wait for the Peckish Games to resume, I thought it would be a very funny idea to pass Clara around as part of her vacation!
However, this game and especially any kids are NOT canon to her lore nor the lore of the ARG/the Peckish Games
This is very much inspired by The Travelling Chicken game by @hunter_slime_660 but with some different rules so please read them carefully!!!

Rules

1. You CANNOT keep Clara for good (she is too chaotic to be contained for long in any other coop apart from my own /silly).
2. After a week, you MUST pass her on to another person listed in the "Down to Play" section below.
3. Due to time constraints, you CANNOT send her back to a person that has hosted her
4. You CANNOT sell, trade, pullet or release her nor receive any form of payment for her. Doing so will get you banned from hosting her in the future. 5. You are free to nest her with your chickens (or not)
6. Please do not remove any of her accessories/filters.
7. You are also not allowed to add any filters or accessories to her
8. Please do not change her name or add a background
9. You may not use any modulators or splicers on her EXCEPT pattern splicers
10. This game will end by 13th June when the Sacrifice Games are due to start! I will ping the last person to host her when time is up so she may return home in time to do her thing smile emoji
11. You are allowed to release her chicks as I know her colours make for really weird combinations pensive emoji
Also please note that she is related to @LvEx's Popcorn Factory hatchery so please do check for relations when using Chick Peek!

Down To Play

Due to the time limit on this game, I highly encourage only nesting her once per player so that she may visit more coops!

It’s been a few days! A bit happened!

Biggest item on the menu:

Entity and Clara seemed to (at least, in Entity’s eyes,) hit it off well. Clara couldn’t help but find his general lack of knowledge about things that anyone like him should be aware of endearing enough to nest with him.

So, welcome to the world:
…Entity, this is the third clone you’ve hatched in a week…

And, for the heck of it,

a small list of things that happened while Clara was in the Daisy Coop:

While eating somewhere with Entity, Clara caught sight of… The detective? After a while of stalking, she was disappointed to find that it was just a strangely close lookalike. The conversation that another All-Stars roost member, Creator, had to have with her about β€œGimon Clones” was awkward.

A new chick joined the coop from the Farmhouse! She’s small, smells like popcorn and stares into everyone's soul. Clara disliked the thing so much that she refused to be anywhere in its vicinity for the entire rest of her stay.

Yarrow. More later.

That's about all that happened with Clara in the coop! I don't think she wants to stay much longer, so I bid her farewell, and hope she has a good stay with the person I'm sending her to! @bow_iie seems to have a pretty nice place... think emoji

I arrived in the next coop to inspect where my next tribute, Anti-Gimon, came from. I was greeted by a large white and blue hen who showed me around, not saying much. We settled down to take a little break for lunch when I saw her feathers raise. Looking at my own feathers, they were ruffled as well by some mysterious unknown. I tried to get a good look at the intruder, but Itza kept it away and scared it off.

Somehow, through the commotion, another egg appeared. Itza seems to enjoy taking care of it, so I'll just watch from afar while I try to look for that odd creature again.

Something odd happened today.

I saw Itza again before I left the coop with the chick she had raised, but it looked off. The creature I'd encountered previously seemed to be in the area, because I felt my unease again. As Itza preened the new chick, I could have sworn I saw something odd in its feathers, like the blinking of another eye. I'm sure it was just my imagination, but I can't help but wonder what I saw.

Ah, well. I'm sure it was nothing... onto the next.

Leaving the coop, Clara casts another glance at the chick, but it just looks back at her with wide eyes, unblinking. She thought she saw another spot appear and disappear in the chick's feathers, but she shakes her head of it and heads off to @Futon_Stalker's coop to continue her travels.

Clara arrived in her new coop with feathers still slightly ruffled from her previous experience, a strange chick still occupying her vast mind. She wandered through the place with renewed casual ease, knowing that no such oddity existed here, and surveilled her environment patientlyβ€” waiting to be greeted by the head of the coop. After some time and seeing some strange chooks, a friendly blue and silver chuff finally approached her. Close behind him was a brown lace who seemed rather frightened of Clara but bore a plate of treats as a welcome offering.

Clara, because she is a gentlehen, decided to humor their frivolous gift. Over the plate of colorful sprinkle cookies and several cups of flowery tea with far too much honey in them, according to Clara who is always right, the chuff introduced himself and his companion. He said his name was Eon and the lace, his wife, was named Poet. By the time the cookies were goneβ€” none eaten by Clara as she prefieres bitter foodsβ€” and the tea was cold, Clara had been given a thorough description of every chook in the coop and firmly decided that she was going to avoid Jack, lest she catch and unnatural illness. It couldn’t hurt to be safe; the poor guy’s perpetual sickness seemed to surpass mortal disease. She otherwise deemed the population of the coop tragically average, bar a few offputtingly ecstatic band members and one black chick whose shadow seemed to stretch further and darker than it should, at least according to Eon.

As if summoned by the mention of him, the mysterious black chook appeared over Eon’s shoulder. Poet, who already seemed rather nervous, tensed considerably. Quickly and with forced calm, Eon cleared the empty teacups and cookie platter before nodding in respect to Clara. β€œI’ll let you guys get to know each other :3,” he bawked personably, before turning and retreating back to wherever he came from with Poet in tow. Now alone with the strange bird, Clara could definitively feel a power emanating from him. While he was, of course, no match for her own prowess, he at least seemed distinctly different from other chickens and therefore more interesting. When he finally made a move to acquaint himself with her, his voice seemed layered and bizarre: β€œgreetings.” He took another step towards Clara, booted feet making no sound as he moved. Thoroughly intrigued and happily entertained at this point, she moved to meet him. The two otherworldly chocks were ultimately able to bond over shared distaste for sweets and fascination with the workings of the mortal mind. The dark chicken eventually introduced himself: β€œI am commonly known as Trench.” Clara found herself not quite enjoying his company, she’s too good for that, but willing to tolerate it during her time in this coop.

After some time, and several long discussions about the ethics of forcing chickens to fight to the death, Clara decided Trench was suitable to nest with. She wouldn’t say the chook was a friend, Clara is above friends, but it was nice to have someone around who wasn’t bound to mortal flesh to share her time with during her stay.

The cast:

Again I’m not a super great narrative writer (i kill with analysis essays) and i don’t know clara super well, please forgive writing/character mistakes :,] ill probably read this over and edit it tomorrow yes emoji

A short update!! No art this time im too busy drawing my sacrifice pensive emoji

Clara spent her remaining time in the coop either solitary, because she is better than the rest of the chooks and they dont deserve her presence, or with Trench making fun of mortal birds. Trench, of course, is also below her be more tolerable than the everyday chicken. Such silly things they are, worried about death and disease. She was amused by the inhabitants of the coop and their insistence on tea parties as a form of honoring someone. She attended several more than she would’ve liked. Upon returning from one of many with the taste of mint still in her mouth, she was hurried inside by Trench. The egg he had been diligently sitting on was cracking! Within minutes, a small, weak looking baby chick emerged. It shook itself off and blinked up at Clara with big, watery yellow eyes. She felt almost endeared but righted herself, she was above endearment. At least she knew the baby, which she did not care for at all, would be safe in the wings of Trench when she left.

As soon as Clara was sure the little critter was well taken care of, she prepared herself to leave. She missed her expansive manor and tributes to torment but was excited to continue her journey. She’ll be heading off the the coop of @chicken next to enjoy her vacation in a different place, preferably with less tea and cookies
