Under the cover of night a mysterious chicken seems to have slipped into the doors of my roost...perhaps he will take refuge in the warmth before travelling again in a week's time.

When the sun rose on the seventh day since the traveler's arrival, Ravin found himself waking up alone, a few eggs by his side. With their other parent nowhere to be found, Ravin tried hard to take care of the little chicks, but it looks like it might be tough- who knows if they will all survive?

Ravin wonders if he'll ever see TRAVELLER again, if he'll ever catch wind of these children of theirs...but maybe their time together was just a passing fancy. Maybe he'll remember him by the maroon visor he made him to shield his eyes from the sun— only time will tell.

Sidenote I hope it was okay with the change of a week long deadline that I nested with him multiple times and so sorry for the delay and apologies for the cooldown on the next person

It's been an eventful second visit to the Shiritoriya for the Traveller. With so many moons and so many destinations in between, at first he didn't recognize the sprawling metropolis that has grown out of the once-humble coop. He got a few strange looks when he first started walking down the lane--but that was normal, his reputation somewhat precedes him these days.

Deciding to take it easy, he did as he always did and started rubbing wings with any fascinating chicken he crossed paths with, before he finally made the acquaintance of a gorgeous hen. Not having been around at the coop when the Traveller first visited, Tani had no idea that the scoundrel had once nested with--and subsequently broken the heart of--her own sister...!

Soon after came the inevitable: an egg; and a few days later, the chick:

Trying to mend his past mistakes, the Traveller thought that he might at least attempt to stick around a bit for this little guy, but these plans all went out the window when the chick's aunt, none other than his ex, Ginko, came to visit the hatchling, and the memories came flooding back.

Immediately, the Traveller high-tailed it out of there, hustling to do the other thing he always does and collect a bit of Profit before making his way out of town. Thoughts of his offspring on his mind and his sack of spoils in hand, he looked for the best place to take stock, when he collided violently with...another chicken:

Immediately, the Traveller was filled with a sense of unease; he knew this chicken; why was she here? Just in being near her again, the Traveller felt a strange dropping in his stomach as something shift in the air around him. In the confusion of the moment, she seemed not to recognize him, and he thought it best he make his escape before she did.

Finally, he was able to take a moment to breathe, but it was not long before something else occurred, something bizarre, something that had never happened to him in his life:

He laid an egg.

Reeling, the Traveller tried to remain in the coop and deal with whatever was going on here, but the pressure proved too much, and the moment he found a warm nest to stash this mysterious egg in, he flapped away as fast as he could to the next closest coop, the home of @chickenborg, hoping that his problems wouldn't follow him...

I’d love to boast the chicken

Slipping into the nearest coop in a frazzled hurry, the Traveller found himself in quite an ornate residence that housed some of the most excellent of breed standards he’s ever seen. And then he saw it. A winning blue ribbon upon the white chest of a crested chook. He didn’t know why but he yearned for it. He WILL have that ribbon before he leaves this coop.

The Traveler strutted his way towards the crested bird. The coop fell into a curious cooing silence as they observed this peculiar chicken. The Traveler approached Sultan, a slender and tall rooster with white laced feathers and a plumed tail that stood high and flowed like a cascading willow. On his perfect plumage was that bright blue ribbon. The Traveler had never seen such a rare specimen and could see in an instance that this was a bird from a line of great pedigree.

The Traveler spent the day befriending the fancy fowl who extended a friendly wing as the latter was honestly intrigued by the Traveler’s… unique feathery elegance and fashion.

Both of their fascination for each other resulted with an egg and a few days later… a chick.

Using the egg to distract the show bird, the Traveler successfully stole his ribbon. However on his way out, he bumped into something that was surprisingly very soft and quite poofy. The commotion drew unwanted attention, but to his surprise, the stranger plopped on the ribbon, hiding it from the view of the condescending eyes.

The Traveler looked upon this new specimen. A quite fuzzy and rather… sweatered chicken. He was red with more floof than feathers. He was not as fancy as the rest of the chickens in the coop, perhaps the least. He was almost… normal. At least in this coop. Yet it was that very quality that brought a comfort to the Traveler and convinced himself to stay another day to share a cozy roost and a deep conversation about the weather, with the velvety feathered fowl.

The Traveler wasn’t surprised when another egg appeared in the morning. The sweatered chicken knew he would not stay and assured him that he’ll take care of their egg,

The Traveler successfully left the coop of polished poultries with a deep blue ribbon on his plumage and seemed to be heading towards the direction of @bow_iie 's coop.
